During lockdown I bet you are going through all the emotions – you wish to be out at restaurants and bars, eating and drinking, but then you also worry for those that work in those places and are out of a job – at least for the time being.
How can you help? Well by supporting small local businesses is a great way. We are starting to see an increase of local cafes and restaurants opening for takeaways and this is a great chance for you to show your support – as well as enjoy some amazing food.
A new place to pop up on the scene is a beautiful patisserie called Petits CHOUX which delivers delightful cakes including cheesecakes and gateaux and a range of profiteroles.
The profiteroles come in an assortment of sizes; I chose the 24 mixed box for just £20. And I also purchased a large assortment for my workplace.
There is no delivery charge (in the Glasgow area) and chef JP and his husband Declan arrived on time with the happiest smiles on their lovely faces.
The box of 24 was tied with a ribbon and their fun pink flamingo business card, for the large order for work, I requested that each profiterole was individually boxed so that people couldn’t touch someone else’s (social distancing and all that) and the guys were brilliant in putting them all in individual boxes for no extra cost.
The profiteroles went down an absolute treat especially as there was such a great choice of flavours, which included chocolate, raspberry, hazelnut, caramel, strawberry, and vanilla
